How people opt in to Tradeside texts
Tradeside never texts someone outside a company until that person has agreed on one of the web forms below. Each agreement is stored with the person’s mobile number, the exact wording shown, the date and time, and the device it was given from. These examples use a sample company name; the real forms show the subcontractor sending the tickets.
1. On a ticket’s signing page
A superintendent who received a T&M ticket by email can choose to get future tickets by text. The box is optional and unchecked by default.
2. On site, on the foreman’s phone
When a superintendent is on site, the foreman can hand them the phone. The superintendent types their own name and number and checks the box. The ticket is texted only after they submit.

3. Subcontractor team members
Foremen and project managers opt in on the Tradeside sign-in page by entering their mobile number and tapping “Send code.” The page states that they agree to sign-in codes and account texts, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP or HELP.
