Text Message Terms

The program

Tradeside Notifications is a transactional text message program run by Interstellar Minds LLC, which operates Tradeside (tradeside.app). Tradeside is software that construction subcontractors use to write time and material (T&M) tickets in the field and get them signed by the general contractor. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

Who receives texts, and how they agree

• General contractor superintendents and field contacts opt in themselves on a Tradeside web form: either the optional “text me future tickets” box on a ticket’s signing page, or the opt-in screen a foreman hands them on site. They type their own mobile number and check a box agreeing to the terms shown. Tradeside does not text a superintendent until that consent is on record. See what the opt-in form looks like.
• Subcontractor team members (foremen and project managers). An administrator at their company adds them to Tradeside with their mobile number after they agree to receive texts. They get an invitation text, one-time sign-in codes they request, and alerts when a ticket they wrote is signed or sent back.
• Anyone signing in by phone. When you enter your mobile number on the Tradeside sign-in page and tap “Send code,” you are asking us to text you a one-time sign-in code.

• “Tradeside: Luis Medina with Acme Drywall sent T&M ticket T-1042 for Riverside Lofts. Review and sign: https://tradeside.app/sign/… Reply STOP to opt out.”
• “Your Tradeside code is 482913. It expires shortly. Don’t share it with anyone.”
• “Tradeside: Acme Drywall: T-1042 (Riverside Lofts) was signed by Dana Whitfield. https://tradeside.app/c/… Reply STOP to opt out.”

Frequency, cost and opting out

• Every message starts with “Tradeside:” so you know who it’s from.
• Message frequency varies with project activity, typically a few messages per week.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You’ll get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply START to receive texts again.
• Reply HELP for help, or email info@feelinginterstellar.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
